For women at every threshold — entering your power or reclaiming it.
About Vylma V
I am Vylma V — a former criminal defense and civil rights attorney with over 20 years of social justice advocacy. A certified meditation teacher, radio host, Bomba/Plena drummer, active runner, and the creator of the V-Method for Empowering Women. I am in my Crone years, and I am on fire. I believe the Crone years can be the very best years of a woman's life — and I have built my entire practice around proving it.
A groundbreaking radio program centering women's voices, experiences, and leadership. Covering the issues that matter most — from politics and health to art, culture, and community organizing.
On the Air
As host and producer of Women's Magazine on KPFA 94.1 FM — Berkeley's legendary listener-supported community radio station — I bring you in-depth conversations, investigative reporting, and community stories that mainstream media ignores.
Every episode is a commitment to the women and communities who deserve to have their stories told with depth, dignity, and power.
Vision · Voice · Vesta · Vylma
Everything Vylma V offers — her legal acumen, her radio work, her teaching, her community — flows from four sacred pillars. Each is a complete world. Together, they are a life on fire.
The Five Core Activities

Classes run 60–90 minutes. V-Circles (groups of 5 women) meet for 6–12 weeks. In English and Spanish.
Join a V-CircleBerkeley Rent Board
As an attorney with deep roots in the Berkeley community, I am running for the Berkeley Rent Board to fight for tenants, protect affordable housing, and ensure that Berkeley remains a home for everyone — not just the privileged few.
Together we can ensure Berkeley's Rent Board truly serves its community.
